A new month, new yarn and a new jumper in candy pink with stripes. Another of my late night eBay bargains (I do love a bargain) This time I'm using Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran and I have lots of colours in my yarn stash.
I do love knitting and after finishing my Dill Tee I hatched a plan to knit another in Aran weight yarn ready for the Autumn, its going to be bright! I've been collecting the Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran yarn for ages, its my favourite yarn for knitting hats.
I started this on Thursday night and by Sunday afternoon I'd reached the seed stitch panel on the top. I'm not the quickest of knitters but knitting in stripes makes me knit faster. I knit and purl into the back loops for the 2x2 rib, it gives it a very neat look.
The colours I'm using are: pink, duck egg, ecru, lilac, stone, grey and MUSTARD. Had to have a big splash of mustard and I'm thinking the little sleeves can be a combination of the stripes. Lets see when I get there. Some of the colours are discontinued but I managed to track down another 200g in Mustard on Sunday night (like you do!)

The amounts I have are 10 x 50g in the main colour (Pink eBay purchase) but I shouldn't use it all, well I'm hoping not so that I can knit a matching hat complete with fluffy pom pom and maybe gloves! And then 50g of each colour for the stripes but again I won't use all of it.
The Pattern: I'm using the Dill Tee pattern and I've so far knitted 30 rows for the rib then 10 rows in pink. Then each stripe is 4 rows of stocking stitch, then the seed stitch panel at the top. I couldn't repeat all the stripes but luckily the colours I wanted just worked out.
