The sun is shining, I had the morning off work and I've been thinking, its the little things that really matter in life J Growing something from seed, making a hand-made gift for a friend, collecting shells by the sea (I love doing that!), eating something yummy like Ben & Jerry’s Fish Food ice cream, walking the dog in the woods, watching the sun rise, strolling around Whitstable and looking in the pretty shop windows, receiving flowers (hint hint J) and chocolates (another hint!) the list is endless really.
I complained to a company this week about sending me a leaflet and I had to pay the postage + service charge because they didn’t use the correct stamps! Imagine my surprise when they sent me a box today containing a lovely tin of Marks + Spencers biscuits plus a cheque to reimburse me for the postage. How lovely is that? And the added bonus is the tin is so lovely I can use it in my sewing room! I must remember to complain more often ;-)
This morning I was invited to attend a British Citizenship ceremony for my friends Shaun + Kimmi in Rochester Corn Exchange. It was the first one I had ever attended, well its not an everyday event is it? I've often wandered what it was like to attend. It's a special event for people that want to become British, something that we take for granted. I wonder how that feels, to become British?

Have a good day, and complaining is always good if you are not satisfied with something. Most companies are so worried about their brand image that they will often send you things to compensate. Glad you got M&S biscuits too, much better than Tesco Value or something like that, that would have been an insult!
