Sow seeds Saturday

It was a lovely dry sunny morning so I got out to do some gardening just after 10am. I managed to sow some Swiss Chard Bright Lights, lettuce + Cosmos, tidy the garden for two hours and fill three bags of rubbish; not bad for a mornings work. Oh and planted up the pansies I bought last week. Great timing as it's now pouring down with rain! I hope you have all had a nice Saturday morning. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Amanda x

we have sponsored a guide dog

After watching a TV programme tonight about the work of guide dogs we decided to sponsor a guide dog puppy called Taylor, he is adorable! It costs fom £4.33 a month which I think is a small amount for the work involved in training a guide dog. We won't tell Moss!

She makes really beautiful crochet earings too that are perfect for gifts or treating yourself please pop by and have a look Girly Bunches

Well the sun is out so might just get into the garden today to do something whilst it lasts!

new venture

It's been a while since I posted an update, I've been quite busy. Last weeks Iwade Village Market saw the launch of Sister Spice, a new venture with my sister Danielle. We wanted to add another foodie table to the market and came up with the idea of selling our home made chilli jam, dried spices, gift sets and fresh grown herbs. Because of the time of year we bought in some larger herbs which sold very well wrapped in hessian. The first market went really well and we plan to be back for the 3rd April.

I've taken lots of large orders for my little lavender bags/sachets and I'm trying to keep up with them all in my evenings after work.

some tasters!
